Vote Rascal Flatts Touring Artist of the Year!

Who went to see Rascal Flatts Live and Loud? It was the best yet!! Some of the opening acts this year included Kristen Kelly, The Band Perry and Cassadee Pope.  The openers were belting out hits to get the crowd energized.  If that wasn't enough there were the Dance Y'all performers. They showed us some moves we have not seen at a Rascal Flatts show before.

Plus those that were lucky enough to win contest presented by RascalFlatts.com and various radio stations were treated to a short acoustic set by the trio along with a question and answer session.

What more could there be? At each stop on the tour; sponsor Farmer's Insurance awarded several fans a unique backstage experience including the acoustic set, dinner, backstage tour and private Meet & Greet with Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney. There were fan zones with games and tailgating that if you were lucky you may come face to face with any of the trio or their band members joining the fans.

Need more... Rascal Flatts took this tour world wide this year playing to fans in Australia, Europe and the United Kingdom.  Treating fans across the globe to a show they will not forget.

All in all I would say, Rascal Flatts had THE BEST tour! Do you agree? Help them win this award! Vote for them here and vote every day! Let's bring this one home for the guys!

Rascal Flatts Receive Decade Award

The following is straight from the News page on Rascal Flatts Fan Club. I can't begin to tell you how happy I was for Rascal Flatts; Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney when they received this honor. To see the standing ovation and to feel a genuine happiness that they were receiving long overdue recognition for their contribution to country music touched me.

Add to the honors received at the American Country Awards; the success Rascal Flatts is having with Nothing Like This debuting at #1 on Billboard's Country Album list (six albums in a row ~ amazing!) and Why Wait declared #1 on Billboard's Country Singles list is proof that there is so much more to come.  Rascal Flatts, your fans are all looking forward to the next 10 years!!

Congratulations Rascal Flatts!!!

from your NC Flatt Dog Pound

Gary, Jay and Joe Don .... ♥ you guys!

By Debut Single for Big Machine Records, “Why Wait,” Lands #1

The best selling country group of the new Millennium, Rascal Flatts, was honored with the “Decade Award” by the American Country Awards this evening during a live broadcast on Fox from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas. This award recognizes the band for their contribution to country music in the past ten years.

In other great news, Rascal Flatts’ debut single on Big Machine Records, “Why Wait,” tops the Billboard Country Singles & USA Today/Country Aircheck charts today and becomes their twelfth career #1 single.

Since their musical debut in 2000, Rascal Flatts-Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney- has sold 20 million albums and 25 million digital downloads. The band has delivered 12 #1 singles to the top of the chart and has more titles in Billboard’s Top 100 Songs of the Decade than any other group in the format. With the #1 debut of their new CD, Nothing Like This, Rascal Flatts has the distinction of being one of only 4 acts to have 6 consecutive studio albums debut in the top spot on the Country Albums chart this decade. Nothing Like This also debuted at #6 on the Top 200 chart.

Rascal Flatts is the most awarded country group of the decade with nearly 40 trophies from the American Country Awards, Academy of Country Music, American Music Awards, Country Music Association, People’s Choice Awards and more.

In concert, Rascal Flatts continues to be one of the hottest touring acts of the decade with more venue attendance records than any other country act. They have played over 400 dates as a headline act, over 700 since 2000, with a ticket tally of nearly 6 million. Among these shows includes 3 consecutive sold-out performances at Madison Square Garden and the band also became the first and only country music act to sell out Wrigley Field.

Gary, Jay and Joe Don have also raised over $3 million dollars in the past few years for the Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn. and recently the hospital named its pediatric Surgery Center after the group- the “Rascal Flatts Surgery Center.”
